Join Us for the New Hope Community Breakfast!

Saturday, November 14, 2026 | 9:00–11:00 a.m.

New Hope Reformed Church | 2438 Glengarry Road, Mississauga

We warmly invite you to our New Hope Community Breakfast, a special time to gather around the table, enjoy a delicious meal, connect with one another, and explore meaningful questions about life and faith.

Whether you're joining us for the first time or have been part of our community for years, you'll find a welcoming place where everyone belongs, conversations are genuine, and friendships grow.

This Month's Topic: "When Is Enough, Enough?"

We have more choices, more conveniences, and more possessions than ever before. So why do we still feel that something is missing?

As we move from Thanksgiving and Remembrance Day toward Black Friday and Christmas, we find ourselves surrounded by contrasting messages. One moment, we're encouraged to be grateful for what we have. The next, we're reminded of everything we don't yet own!

But what does it really mean to have enough?

Is happiness found in what we accumulate, or could the most valuable things in life be those that money cannot buy?

Drawing inspiration from Jesus' Parable of the Rich Fool (Luke 12:13–21), we'll explore the meaning of gratitude, contentment, generosity, and the priorities that shape our everyday lives.

Together, we'll consider some thought-provoking questions:

  • Why do we always seem to want just a little more?

  • Can we pursue success and financial security without losing sight of what truly matters?

  • How do our possessions, expectations, and ambitions influence our happiness?

  • What might change if we began measuring the richness of our lives differently?

And perhaps the most important question of all:

If our lives are worth more than everything we own, what should we be doing differently?

This isn't a lecture about money or a conversation meant to make anyone feel guilty. It's an opportunity to share experiences, challenge assumptions, discover fresh perspectives, and reflect on how we can live more intentionally.

Good Food. Great Company. Meaningful Conversations.

Join us for a delicious, freshly prepared breakfast, warm fellowship, a little laughter, and an engaging discussion that might just leave you looking at life differently.

You don't need to know the Bible, have all the answers, or even agree with everyone. Just come as you are!

Bring your family, invite a friend, and come ready for:

  • A delicious breakfast prepared with care.

  • Honest, thought-provoking conversations about everyday life.

  • New friendships and meaningful connections in a welcoming community.

  • An opportunity to reflect, grow, and discover what truly matters.

As we approach the Christmas season, perhaps the greatest gift we can give ourselves is a fresh perspective on what it means to have enough.

We'd love to see you at the table!

All are welcome. All belong. Together we grow.
